Beaded Log Cabin Quilt

This month's featured pattern was inspired by a Log Cabin Quilt I saw while visiting the Amish community in Smicksburg, Pennsylvania. My grandmother crocheted this for me and I really loved the look of it. I thought what a great idea, I can create a version of this in beads. A pattern for this beaded quilt will be included in this issue. The quilt was done in two shades of purple seed beads and the other color is pearl white. Seed beads come in hundreds of colors and sheens, so the sky is limit as far as colors for your quilt go. I purchased my beads from Fire Mountain Gems and Beads.
